Books I Brought With Me to College

Posted on Updated on

I brought a handful or so of books with me to college. Will I even touch them? I have no idea. I’ve been favoring audiobooks lately because the only thing that I legitimately read are textbooks. Yes, it’s a sad thing, but if you’re curious about which books I brought with me to college, stay tuned.

For the most part, these are books that I could theoretically fly through, so you won’t find any hardcore fantasy here.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses

A Beauty and the Beast retelling with faeries, so I’m told. I’ve been aching to read this one for a while. I got about 20 pages in before having to stop because college got in the way. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m always discovering books that I want to read from family, friends, book blogs, and simply by chance wandering through the bookstore. I expect that my to-be-read pile will never diminish, and that’s completely alright by me.

Now, on to my list!

The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Café by Mary Simses

The Irresistable Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe

This one sounds like an adult romance with a twist. A woman is tasked with carrying out her grandmother’s dying wish of delivering her last letter to a former lover. While the task seems simple enough, she discovers secrets about her grandmother and finds out that one day isn’t long enough to complete the job. When she almost drowns in the bay and is rescued by a local carpenter, she becomes a small town celebrity. Just maybe, she’ll be pulled into a simpler life. Read the rest of this entry »
