Me Before You

I just… want to be a man who has been to a concert with a girl in a red dress. Just for a few minutes more.

Man, what a book.

Me Before You certainly packs a punch. I have probably felt every single emotion out there while I was reading this book. I was filled with raging anger, loud laughter, joyous squeals, and the anxiety of what was coming. Now, I don’t generally cry in books, and this one was no exception to that rule. That is probably because the plot of Me Before You is glaringly obvious. I wasn’t particularly surprised at anything while reading given the fact that I had seen the movie trailer and the title for its sequel. If I had not known anything before starting it, I think Me Before You would’ve had a greater impact on me, but it was an enjoyable book nonetheless. Read the rest of this entry »

More accurately, this is a cumulative haul for the past several months. I am very excited about these books. So much so that I’m having a hard time deciding what to read next, but that seems to always be an issue with book lovers.

Right now, this book is extraordinarily popular. It was released as a movie in early June, and if I want to see it in theaters, I need to finish this book soon. I’m actually currently reading this one. For the most part, I went into this one blind.
